Quiet, Unobtrusive, Eye-friendly

For the aged or the ill, being confined to restricted physical spaces can feel extremely limiting, we know. We can’t change the circumstances but we can help bring a little outside cheer into their rooms. With inputs from caregivers and sufferers of chronic diseases, as well as valued insights from elderly residents of care homes, we bring Nudge Display to you in hope of making everybody’s day a little brighter.

Nudge messaging platform is a perfect assistant to seniors, the ill, or indeed anybody who would like news of the outside world on their own terms. Using your own secure building WiFi, send out important notices, motivational Nudges, list out medicine charts or individual care guidance, all without disturbing the residents.

The unit can be mounted on a wall or placed on a flat surface as per your needs. The Electronic Paper Display (EPD) screen is carefully chosen for its vision-friendly qualities: the screen is bright enough to be comfortably read yet gentle on the eye; the high contrast inks make every word easy to read even from a distance; lastly, it is not backlit, so there will be no disturbance during quiet hours or in the dark.

The Dignified Choice

A comprehensive meta-analysis published by BMC in the National Library of Medicine looked at the effect of data-driven and timely nudges on adult dietary behaviour. By implementing nudges such as displaying healthier food options prominently, and using appealing imagery, individuals were nudged towards making healthier choices, resulting in a 15.3% increase in healthier dietary selections.

This encourages us to think of more widespread health benefits of nudges – reminders of medicine intake coupled with gentle encouragement towards appropriate outdoor time and socializing; motivational daily messages and news; even medical support through customized care charts and recommendations placed where both residents and caregivers can easily view them – all of these can work together to reinforce the existing care and support already offered by the institution.
